Pre-release events for this next MTG expansion, Lorwyn Eclipsed, are set to start on Jan. 16. While the full preview period is scheduled to begin on Jan. 5, head creator Mark Rosewater has again released a comprehensive list of gameplay teasers before schedule.

Within the many hints, several are particularly notable. Lorwyn Eclipsed will include a "card that searches every round." This likely refers to a creature that enables a you to look through their library each turn for a specific card, potentially with specific restrictions.

This might be something as simple as searching for a land card each round, or something more powerful like a tutor that scales based on a creature's power.

Rosewater also teased a fresh card that duplicates abilities that trigger. This card is possibly linked to Kirol, Attentive First-Year, a planeswalker that, by tapping two ready creatures, can replicate a ability one time per turn.
