Helicopter Spirals Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Shoreline
An aircraft flying over a popular California shoreline unexpectedly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm trees as spectators watched.
Footage posted online capture the helicopter commencing to spiral over the beach then plunging towards the edge of the coast, where it becomes wedged between palm groves and a staircase adjacent to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Details
Emergency responders stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the accident on Saturday.
Three persons on the road were injured. Information on their injuries were not immediately available.
